Privacy Policy

🤝 The Short Version

We collect the minimum needed to run the Gamble Smart VIP membership: your email address, the name you choose to display, and the content you post (forum posts, comments). We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

📋 1. What We Collect

• Account information: your email address, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash — we can't read it).
• Content you create: forum posts, video comments, and any avatar you upload.
• Membership status: whether your subscription is active, provided by our storefront (Shopify) when you subscribe. Payment details (card numbers) are handled entirely by Shopify and never touch our servers.
• Basic usage: login times and which member features you use, to keep the service healthy and fight abuse.
• Device token (app only, optional): if you allow push notifications in our iOS app, we store the anonymous device token Apple issues so we can send them. Declining notifications works fine.

📱 2. What Stays on Your Device

• The app's Session & Trip bankroll tracker stores its data only on your phone. Your buy-ins, cash-outs and results are never sent to our servers — we couldn't see them if we wanted to.
• The strategy guides and hand analyzer run entirely on the device.

🔧 3. How We Use Information

• To operate the membership: sign-in, the forum, member videos, and the perks you signed up for.
• To send email you've opted into (like new-video alerts) — every email has a working unsubscribe link.
• To send push notifications you've allowed — turn them off any time in iOS Settings.
• We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

🏦 4. Who We Share With

• Shopify processes membership billing (their privacy policy applies to payment data).
• Mailgun delivers our email.
• Apple delivers push notifications to the iOS app.
• Bunny.net streams member videos.
• That's the list. Each receives only what's needed to do its job.

🗑️ 5. Your Choices & Deleting Your Account

• Edit your display name and avatar any time from your profile.
• Unsubscribe from any email with one click, or manage notifications in the app.
• Delete your account in the iOS app (More → App & Account Settings → Delete My Account) or by emailing us. Deletion erases your email, name, avatar and login immediately; forum posts remain shown as "Deleted Member". Cancel any active subscription via Shopify to stop billing.

🔒 6. Security & Retention

• All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm. Sessions expire after 48 hours of inactivity.
• We keep account data while your account exists, and remove personal data when you delete it.

👶 7. Age

Our content is intended for adults of legal gambling age. The iOS app is rated 17+. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
